Maybe not a strange ritual, but my husband and I always give each other a fist bump before one of us gets on the wall.

Oh man…. I love both, but I’ll say dog!

Many thanks to Dynamic Earth and to all of the climbers, competitors, spectators, and volunteers who put together a great event with the Pebble Wrestle at Horse Shoe Canyon Ranch.  It was a great comp, with great food, good beer, good music, and tons of fun.  Plus they raised nearly $1200 for the ARCC!  Keep up the good work!

Check out this video from the Dynamic Earth Pebble Wrestle at Horseshoe Canyon Ranch.  This bouldering competition was a great event and it raised some serious cash for the ARCC last year.  Can't wait for 2012!

The American Alpine Club has awarded the Arkansas Climbers' Coalition the Cornerstone Conservation Grant of $3,750 to complete the Sam's Throne Camping Area Project. This project will include finishing touches on the vault toilets installed early this year, as well as additional signage and an informational kiosk.
