The FS is still conducting the heriatge review in these areas. They are asking that all users avoid the areas until the review is complete and they have determined how to deal with native american issues in this area. No closure signs have been posted because this area is not closed. Let's respect the FS request to stay away for now. Otherwise we may jeopardizing access for everyone in the future.

The Forest Service contacted the ARCC in August. This isn't just about climbing near the rock art. There are much larger issues at play here that don't even involve climbing. Remember these areas were important to the Native Americans long before Columbus set foot in the Americas.

Nothing new.  It is progressing at the usual government pace.
